Whew! to the Huffington Post's retrospective on Katie Couric's hair simply because Katie showed up with a new 'do this evening. Katie's issue is not now and has never been her hair. Please.
It's her eyeliner.
Bet Katie got serious about applying her own in the 80's. Me too. The days of bold abundance. And simplicity. On really serious days, all you had to do was add more and make it blue. Not picking on Katie here. 80's eyelining is a persistent problem. For each month you genuinely believed the only proper thing to do to an eye was to encircle it, it takes about a year not to feel nude sans the liquid ring.
Saddened to see the Huffington Post so easily distracted from the real issues...
