A Yay! for former Whew! girl.
Rosie O'Donnell is returning to TV. Most importantly, it is in a setting where she will not have the opportunity to talk about The View. Or anyone on it.
She will be on television Saturday night, on Lifetime, in movie about the foster-care system.
Rosie co-wrote the script to "America". She is the executive producer, too. She also plays a therapist for a boy aging out of foster care.
Rosie discovered her co-star boy at a diner. A 17 year old, hanging out, eating. Poof - discovered. How America. That's him in the picture.
We love Rosie. We are delighted she is out and about and unable to utter the words we previously banned her from using: The View, Barbara, Elizabeth, daytime, Joy, talk, Whoopie. Although in the AP story about her new gig, she did talk about The View. Suppose she merits a little forgiveness as she confesses to being a little OCD. And a little LMNOP, too.
