At "Bountiful" Junior High, two, yes two, teachers are accused of sexually assaulting the same
13-year-old student. Both teachers face first-degree
felony charges of rape and sodomy on a child. The women are Linda R. Nef and Valynne Bowers. They are 46 and 39 years old, respectively. Nef is a "Utah studies teacher". She was molesting the boy for more than a year. Bowers teaches math. She started her molestation in December. Both of them confessed to having sex with the child. They were unaware the other the molesting the same kid. Read full story here. I lalmost always have to read stories about adults molesting kids twice. Because I simply don't believe the words. And even then, I still don't really digest it. But these news reports have one massively important value: they are a sad, urgent reminder to parents that you probably know, and like, the person most likely to molest your young kid right there under your nose. Trust them with noone. And be all over them as to where they are, with whom and why. Even when they remind you for the 189th time what an over-protective, untrusting, rediculous parent you are.
:( They should be lined up against a fence, blindfolded, given a cigarette, and done away with.
